Operations Analyst (2 positions)
DUTIES: With management approval, designs and implements systems and procedures to ensure accurate financial records management and documentation of compliance. With guidance from managers, determines financial requirements and options for proposed further development of business model. Analyzes international company operations for cost efficiencies and profitability. Takes into account all cost factors, with special attention to supply chain systems for materials acquisition, transportation, and inventory. Drafts and charts preliminary plans for implementation of model changes. Based on study and management direction, develops new performance objectives and standards, which generally will include recommendations for product chain improvement, addition or deletion of products sold based on performance and trends, staffing addition or re-deployment, enhancement of marketing activities, and any other areas specified by management to achieve better operational efficiency and cut waste. Includes gathering, review, organization of data about company problems, bottlenecks, and procedures, especially those relating to the costs attributable to complex logistics. Recommends work simplification to streamline internal forms and procedures. Responsible to review academic, government, and industry trends in international trade generally as well as specific focus on reclaimed metals and plastics sector, advising management accordingly to assist in future planning.
Requirements:
1. Education: Master Degree in Finance, Management, or closely related
2. Experience: 1 year of experience in the job offered as Operations Analyst, OR, corporate financial analysis [as alternative qualifying job title]
